What are conservatory plants?
Even a cold conservatory is sheltered and warmer than outdoors, giving you a brilliant opportunity to choose a plant otherwise not suited to our UK climate. Conservatory plants can make your conservatory look wonderful -plants to catch the eye, amazing scents of flowers and the taste of exotic fruit.
In most cases the idea is not to have too many plants but to have special plants.
By having just 1 lemon tree you can appreciate the beautiful citrus scent from its leaves, lots of interest, flowers and bright fruits. A lemon tree is easy to grow and its fruits are very long lasting on the tree (which is why in many hot countries it grows in almost every garden).
You may want just a plant to stand on a table – that can be a dramatic bonsai or miniature plant. You may wish for a climber that will be full of flowers like the dipplendia sundeville or Mandevilla Super ruper. These start blooming in spring and should continue blooming until around Christmas. The options are endless but you will need to find a good source as garden centres are not always keen to stock these plants all year around and will not always have them in good condition. You probably like to buy from someone who knows the plants and can be relied on to sell you plants with all the information needed.
In best4garden you can purchase a plant for your conservatory or a special present for a dear person. We bring the best plants from Israel, grown by the best growers, the plants come through Europe where again we select the top quality and the rest is sold in Holland- so the quality of the plants is really unusual, just top of the class. I, Ofer, was a leading garden designer in Israel so I know these plants well but I have now lived in the UK for more than 3 years so know the English weather well too! My experience and plant knowledge enables me to help you choose impressive plants.
