Moonstones are large succulents which resemble a cluster of shiny white pebbles. Their foliage is rosettes of thick rounded leaves, in a silvery-grey with flushes of purple, when in sunlight. During the spring months Moonstones can produce rose-pink flowers on short stalks. Moonstones are ideal for planting in gravel gardens, paved areas, rockeries and small containers. They would be ideal for “Fairy Garden” mixes, planted in a sunny position with gritty compost, alongside other succulents and alpine plants. As the Moonstone is a clump forming tender succulent, it is advised to keep them sheltered during the cooler months. A cute gift plant, which is suitable for all occasions!
